It's back! I LOVE Friday Make and Dos:) Here are a few ideas to jumpstart your weekend. Clay and I are heading to a lecture about meditation tonight and having our second tennis lesson(!) on Saturday. I'm guessing Sam and I will be squeezing in some felting; it's our new obsession. What are your plans?
Feeling the need for a change of scenery? Here's an easy way to paint an awesome, giant mural.
It isn't quite warm enough for hanging clothes outside, at least not around here. While we're waiting, let's make a bunch of sweet, painted clothespins! I'm crazy about these kissing clothespins :) And how sweet are those rainbow gnomes?!
Has anyone tried Artfelting? It's looks pretty kid-friendly. Sam and I have mostly been working from Wool Pets and Felted Feathered Friends, but I'm curious to try Artfelting... (There are some beautiful examples, like the one at the top, on this felting blog.)
It's that time of year when no one wants to look at another soup, root vegetable or cabbage. So, while we're waiting for fresh spring greens and summer tomatoes, don't you think a sauerkraut party would be a fun way to liven up a late-winter staple?
I love these "bejeweled bits of nature," they remind me of the ice storm we had when we were in Maine for Christmas. And it definitely looks like something my science-loving kiddos could get into.
I've been meaning to print out these sweet sewing cards for the kiddos. Wouldn't they be cute all framed in a group?
Hope your weekend is relaxing, creative and sunny!!
