Our first week of official homeschooling is going great; we all love it! I'll probably share more details next week, but in the meantime, check out these gorgeous art projects the kids did!
We did piles and piles of these butterflies, or whatever they ended up being. Even Vivi joined in; it was the perfect project for chubby little hands and she loved opening the paper to reveal the explosion of color.
Wouldn't these make amazing decorations for a party? You could do one side, let them dry, then do the other. Once they were totally dry, you could cut out butterfly shapes and string them from the ceiling at various heights. Someone should really do that. And send me a picture:)
There's another project on the left that we did that was too fun not to share, but I only got that one picture. We were too busy rolling marbles to take pictures. I'd love to do a HUGE marble painting. This one was just a piece of paper in a cookie sheet with paint-dipped marbles rolled around in it.
Do your kids love playing in paint too? Do you plan projects for them or just let them go at it? We do a little bit of both. They love to experiment, but sometimes it's fun when I provide some ideas and they get to try something totally new.
