Second only to a mug of hot tea and ginger snaps in soothing deliciousness is a tall glass of cool, iced herbal tea and said ginger snaps. I seem to collect teas faster than I can drink them; those prettily illustrated boxes promising all manner of desirable moments from tension tamed to elusive sleep lassoed, are all too hard to resist. And so, in a noble attempt at working my way through my vast collection of sacheted herbs and spices I've taken to brewing and chilling several jars of tea at once.
They look so pretty brewing in the sun and are the perfect accompaniment to a mid-afternoon relax in the hammock while Sam is taking his afternoon nap.
