I got a Pro Bar at Whole Foods the other day and Sam was quite interested in sharing it. So, I decided to make him his own baby Pro Bars. I can't remember the exact proportions of what went into them, but they turned out quite yummy. Basically it was some sticky stuff and some crunchy stuff all whizzed up in the Cuisinart and then pressed into a saran-lined cookie sheet and firmed up in the fridge. The sticky stuff was dates, coconut oil, peanut butter, honey. The crunchy was oats, ground flax, sunflower seeds and walnuts. All raw, no sugar and really satisfying. Yum! Sam hasn't been as interested as I'd hoped, but they've made the perfect snack for Clay and I.
